Arizona Creative Economy Day is a powerful, all-day gathering that brings artists, cultural leaders, educators, policymakers, and community advocates together at the Arizona State Capitol to elevate the impact of the creative sector statewide.

Rose Garden Gathering & Awards Ceremony

- Presentation of the Governor’s Award, Oonagh Award, Shelley Award, and Arts Champion Award

Legislative Floor Recognition
- Honorees recognized on the House and Senate floors
- National Anthem performed by local student artists
- Recognition of the creative sector’s cultural and economic contributions
Midday & Afternoon | 12:00–5:00 PM
Creative Economy Advocacy Day & Legislator Meetings
- Coordinated, face-to-face meetings with lawmakers

Arizona Youth Art Month Festival
Wesley Bolin Memorial Plaza
- Performances, visual art exhibitions, and hands-on activities by students from across Arizona
- Celebration of arts education and youth creativity in partnership with the Arizona Department of Education
- Conference registrants are invited to attend, volunteer, and engage with educators and legislators throughout the day

- Community celebration with friends, families, nominees, and creative leaders
- Arizona 250: Flinn 5 C’s Art Exhibition, presented in partnership with the Flinn Foundation
